What do you think our crowd will look like?
Below 30k?
Below 40k?
Below 50k?
I do not think it will be highly attended. I say between 40k and 45k if we are lucky... Comments?

Please merge, sorry I didnt see the other thread.
Okay, Iowa State either simply has the best fanbase in the nation or this is BS.
Damn!!!
Give me another D-1 school where the fans fill the stadium even when the team gets blown away by 23, 23 and then 35 points - considering all three of those games we were maybe a 2 score underdog on average.
I just saw that article too! Awesome, I love huge crowds. Let's end our losing streak tomorrow!
Well, let's see. We probably sold a whole bunch of tickets during those first three games. And the fact is, we are building quite a nice fanbase here. The Cyclone Nation is just looking for reasons to explode.
This announcement doesn't surprise me at all. I'm looking forward to this game tomorrow!
Mind blowing. Who could have possibly guessed that even after 3 whole losses the ISU faithful would still show up for a game.
The Chicken Little's out number the sane on this site by a hefty margin.

Beautiful Fall afternoon, who wouldn't want to go to a football game. Homecoming also.
Nice job outta the fans. 50k.
The top 6 seasons for attendance are
1980- 50,097
1981- 50,114
1982- 51,906
1983- 49,279
1984- 49,374
2007- 49,462
If we get 51k for the A&M game and average 40k for the Kansas and OSU games (very realistic since we have 38k season tickets), then we average 49,100 for the season.
If we get 51k and could somehow average 45k for the last two games, we'd end up at 50,768 for the season, which would be #2 all time. I don't think that's possible to end up with 45k average for the last two games though. The November games are always a tough draw.
I think its very possible. Mini-packs that cover the last 3 games, plus any tickets sold from their allotments (KU sucks, but theyre close at least, so they'll bring some fans), plus we sold nearly 38k season tickets. We'd have to have almost zero of our own single game tickets sold to only have 40k, and people will know that KU is a very winnable game. I think KU could be in the upper 40s, and while actual attendance for OSU could suck horribly (cold november friday night against a team that will probably completely destroy us) our sold (the official number) number probably can't get much lower than 41k.
