Are there any good bands playing in Ames Friday or Saturday?

Which Friday? Today or the 29th of October? Envy Corps is playing in Des Moines on the 29th, FWIW.

If its tonight you are talking about, I think there's a country jamboree at the senior center, if that's what you are down with.

Matt Woods is at Mother's this Friday (22nd), but they have some cover band on Saturday, so I'd go Friday, I think. $5 either time.

DGs has Wookiefoot, the Workshy, John Wayne and the Pain and Useful Jenkins tonight and tomorrow.

Group of us who graduated in 82 and 83 back for homecoming. We all like the blues and have many fond memories of the building Mothers is in back when it was Dugans Deli back in the day. Spent many Tuesday Night live at Dugans watching Redz Band and others
