really to me our biggest problem is we're running a spread offense with one back/pro style offensive personnel... honestly, we're just not built for the spread... the spread takes superior athletes at every position, thats just not us... i'd love to see us throw in a different formation or 2 to throw off defenses... something under center...

To compare - the difference between ISU at 115th in scoring defense and Kansas at #120 - 15 points a game. The difference between ISU at 115 and Okie State at 65 is 9 points a game.

Cut out the turnovers and sustain some drives and this team could be statistically a lot better. I still look at the Baylor Game....Jantz does not fumble at the 6 yard line, and we score on that drive, its a 7 point game and then you never know, one play we tie the game and players change, offensive coordinators change...defenses change....

We gotta reduce the penalties and turnovers to sustain drives!!!!

I'm predicting these three wins to make us Bowl Eligible...
texas tech....thats right, we slow down that offense and we win a tight one.
Kansas.....just because Gill dont have his team there yet.
Kansas St.....They're offense is not winning games, their defense is. They will be coming off of a run thats worse then ours...oklahoma, Okie St, A&M, texas and us....they could easily be 7-4 and beat up by the time they play us, too bad they also get a bye week before us!!!

Coach Rhoads has had one upset in each of his previous two seasons....
If an upset occurs this year - i'm picking it to be the Friday Night game against Okie State....short week for them, we have a bye week before, and they're looking past us to their big show down with Oklahoma!!!!!
