It goes without saying that only scoring 17-24 points in a game in a conference is a sure fire prescription to lose in the big 12. Unless we figure out how to get several legitimate touchdowns in conference play, we will continue to lose. Gambling on fourth down with Barnett appears to be a safer bet than gambling on fourth down with SJ.

Let's hope our defensive backs can come up with some interceptions to slow the scoring machines.

Let's not choose to kickoff when we win the coin toss.

Let's throw some more slants and screens.

Let's back up our linebackers when we see Tannebaum is throwing over them in the second half.

Let's figure out how to get Woody untracked this year.

Let's expect that the refs will not give us any breaks till the second half. Are the refs all from Texas?

If we hold aTm to 33 points, we should have been closer at the end. The number of points that we score per game has been stagnant for years while the rest of the league has learned to score. We are like the nice guy at the prom who never scores.

we were successful in first quarter against aTm due to blitzing and bringing pressure from linebackers. we stopped doing it for 2nd and 3rd quarters and they moved the ball at will. the 4th quarter we started blitzing backers again instead of just locking up the line with defensive front and we got pressure and felt like aTm couldn't do much...in the end I'm more happy giving up a 10-15 yard gain bringing a blitz and pressuring and/or hitting the quarterback rather than bringing defensive line and let quarterback sit in pocket for ab easy throw for 10-15 yards
