Why don't we throw more to our tight ends?

I just don't get it. Somebody help me here.

IMO I just don't trust them at this point. Franklin was hard not to trust. That guy was a beast. Reid and Hammer just aren't the greatest TE's ever. We have better options out there. We also need them to stay back and block because our O-Line sucks ***.

They suck. I'd rather have us throw it to them less.

Can't we just get them to block and then release? I mean they should be able to catch a short pass I would think. 3 Second QB drop back and throw?

I'd be curious on how many pass attempts we have made to our TEs . . and completions.

Between their inability to get open and catch passes that are thrown at them, I can't imagine why we don't see more TE involvement. It's a stunner.

Tight ends are on pace for 31 receptions. It's a walk-on who used to play D3 basketball and a glorified extra tackle. What did you expect?

So you have no idea what these numbers are......but you don't understand why it isn't "more"? Wow, what a thinking man's fan.

I think this is the reason. When we have thrown it to them they've dropped quite a few, then who could forget the tip drill at the start of the UCONN game? TE bobbled it up in the air, would have been a much needed 1st down if he has any hands at all but instead was picked off.

Did Brun even have a redshirt available? I thought he only had 2 to play 2.

Herman loves having the TE in there, but I'm not sure why we don't 4 WRs. I guess it's hard to figure out whether our TE or 4th WR is worse.w

no offense to them but this is pretty much right on, need to recruit TE's better

IF they don't show the ability to get open and catch the ball during practice that's probably why we don't see them utilized on game day.
