What DirecTV channel is showing game??

If you don't have the Sports Pack, those channels won't show up on your Guide if you set it to.......wait for it......CHANNELS I GET.

Look, I know it's not fool proof. But as someone else said, freaking click on a channel to see if you get it. There are truly chimps that can do that.

You both are wrong. I am pretty good with my remote (lots of practice! ) and I record 2 ISU channels each week as I never know which channel is showing the game. I will find the channels, click on the channel and it will work. So I will record the game and it is nothing but a black screen the entire time.

I find it mildly entertaining that you two are making fun of others for being dumb when neither of you are right either.

If you don't have Sports pack, you get one FSN channel. If a guy doesn't know what his own FSN channel is, he hasn't made any effort to help himself learn how to operate his Direct TV machine. You get one --- find it, learn it, know it, live it.

Maybe he had the same issue as myself or Clones85 or he travels a lot, he doesn't have access to things that you and I do. Maybe he is outside of his house once in a while.

Since I can't actually go to his house and teach him how to use his remote and his guide channel, the best I can do is ridicule him to the point that his shame provides a spark of motivation. I am actually trying to help him, but in more meaningful and deeper way than you. Plus it's more amusing and enjoyable for me. A classic win/win if ever there was one.

Normally I would say the same thing, but after messing up the recording for the Iowa game I spent quite a bit of time working on this flaw and being frustrated with DirecTV. Since I know that this is not as cut and dry as you make it, I gave him the fish.

If you have 38 listings for the game and you want to make sure you get it, because you will be AT the game, you may want to make sure. And you may not have the time that some others do, because you may be in a loving long term marriage and have kids that like to spend time with you. If you setup your guide right those channels do NOT show up in it.

I wish cyclones.com wouldn't get my hopes up by saying it's on FSNorth. Yay October hockey is on saturday night.

Mediacom (MN) sports pack is worth the $3.95/month I pay for it. A couple FCSs, two soccer channels incl something called a GolTV and no other FSNets. Lament.
