    Driving home from Chicago this evening listening to the Hawkeye meltdown on Soundoff when it was going in and out on 1040. Didn't even know the score until I checked ESPN scores on my phone...I was freaking out!

    A couple thoughts about the game tonight:

    1.) This is a great example of why Coach Rhoads wants to play at least 2 games per year in Texas. The Texas kids were able to shine in their home state again, and I'm sure they take it very personally.

    2.) We had our best offensive output vs. Texas Tech last season, if i'm not mistaken, and it would appear that our staff simply executed a similar plan tonight. (our defense outperformed anyone's expectations, I'm sure)
