“I told you, I don’t care if you’re black or white. I don’t care if you’re rich or poor. I don’t care where you come from, whether it’s Texas, Florida, California, or right here in the state of Iowa, I don’t care about any of that… But what I did care about is moving forward from that day on, that we were one team." -Paul Rhoads -

When the announcers said it has been over ten years since we rushed over 300-yds, I didn't know whether to be happy, or sad.
"We are first and foremost an educational institution that values integrity, honesty and treating others with fairness and respect". -ISU President Gregory Geoffroy; circa May 2003. -

At least it is finally put to rest and hopefully beaten again real soon! “I told you, I don’t care if you’re black or white. I don’t care if you’re rich or poor. Anything else I am missing? Edited #3 for clarity.
Also:
Largest margin of victory over a ranked opponent ever!
"There are five real good recruits in the state. We got three of them. One couldn’t get into school, and the other went to (the University of) Iowa...which is about the same thing." - Coach Johnny Orr -

I also thought it was hilarious that their entire pregame teaser was the on-field announcer with the fans talking about how ISU had never won there and asking them if it would happen today. Of course they all were screaming it wouldn't... "There are five real good recruits in the state. We got three of them. One couldn’t get into school, and the other went to (the University of) Iowa...which is about the same thing." - Coach Johnny Orr -

Anything else I am missing? Ended TT 69 game streak with a passing touchdown.

Cyclone fan since 1964 and proud of it! -
Re: Milestones achieved last night...
First time to beat ranked teams on the road in back to back seasons since 1977-78... that is unbelievable.

Re: Milestones achieved last night...
Most rushing yards (368) in a Big 12 game since 1996 (407 vs Missouri).
Zach Guyer has made 4 consecutive FG attempts.

Because of this, which two new freshman qb's should we have start for us against Oklahoma State and Oklahoma?

Re: Milestones achieved last night...
I think there just must be some record for most ironic cure for amnesia, ever.
Yeah, Cqulin Hubert, we remember you. In fact, I think it is safe to say we'll never forget you now.
I always knew you'd make big plays for the Cyclones. Just didn't realize you'd be doing it by relying on cheap shots as a Red Roadrunner. Houston (Texas) Eisenhower linebacker Cqulin Hubert was a signing day surprise for Texas Tech, inking with the Red Raiders after being committed to Iowa State for four months. He is profiled here in of our "Getting to know you" feature.
Surprise! You're 0-2 against your prior commitment!

I never saw it anywhere, but does anyone know if Barnett was actually knocked unconscious from that hit? It looked to me like he was out but I never heard for sure.
