Heard Tuftee has a nagging injury he has had for a while and just aggravated it.
What happened to Duck?
I thought Woody was the hurt one?
Think Duck got a hip pointer.
Hopefully, Duck just has some bruised ribs. We need him healthy against KU to have that 1-2 RB threat. When those guys are on, look out.
Hopefully these boys are ready to go. Tuftee's replacement played pretty darn well, but it is nice to have some depth in the O-Line.
Also, hopefully Hollis can go at 100%, that pretty much gives us a 3 headed monster in the backfield (with Barnett at QB) running the football, and Woody can come in and give us some 3 to 4 yard bruiser runs.
good to hear
I wouldn't get too excited about hearing that someone practiced on Sunday. Remember that Shontrelle "practiced" on the Sunday after his injury from the Texas game before the news came out that he was done for the season. Sunday practice often consists of simply coming in to get treatment for an injury.
Monday is usually the off-day. What matters is when someone is able to participate in the Tuesday and Wednesday contact practices.
Duck took a helmet to his hip . When I rewatched the game for the 3rd time I tried to pay close attention and that is what it looked like .
We need Duck Hollis the rest of the year, his playmaking Saurday made the lose of Shontrelle less apparent.
Tuftee is a stud but honestly, who ever filled in for him, we seemed to never miss a beat, was that Gannon or Graham?? I love our depth at Oline....

I've been saying for weeks that the loss of Shontrelle was hurting us more than anyone realized. White is a big play guy, but too often goes for no or little gain. Shontrelle moves the chains and helps control the ball. Last night, Duck brought some of that shiftiness that Johnson has. White also ran with more authority than he has in a while. Great job guys!
Practice or not, I just want to see them playing on Saturday... both are very important to our success.
