You don't win by 34 on accident.
Being an (ISU) student, i get slammed and take a lot of crap from my friends who attend other schools, and my family (who are mostly Texas fans) whenever ISU loses.
Now when ISU dominates and blows somebody out by 34, they are all saying "ISU got lucky that TTU overlooked them after the OU win." I'm sorry, but i don't see how you get "lucky" winning by 34 points and statistically dominated every category of the game.
Sure, Tech PROBABLY could have played better, but the point is, it wasn't luck.
Does anybody else have this problem occuring? It gets old. Give us some cred!

We are Iowa State. Get used to it.

All of our wins are always luck as we've been favored in one game this year.

All Iowa State needs to do is win and this stuff will stop happening.

It can be frustrating that any kind of unexpected win (or surprising season) seems to have an aura of "fluke." But to eliminate that view, ISU has to do more than get the occasional stunner, or finish with a slightly better record than expected.

We will always put up with **** like this. The powers that be do not like to see Iowa State succeed, but screw them it was not luck we were the better team. We just cannot lay an egg this Saturday. GO CYCLONES SHUT THEM THE **** UP!!!!!

Losing to Kansas would be like Tech losing to us.

If it were just us catching Tech off guard you would expect to see us have an early lead, and then tech fight back. Tech gave us one good punch in the second quarter, and then we dominated the rest of that game.

Most people didnt expect more then 3 wins this year any way. We can and should be able to beat KU by 30 points Saturday. Let us all pray on that!
Let us hope that we have a full house on Saturday to root on the Clones. If we don't, that's straight up ********! Win this one and look for an upset in the next 3 weeks. Personally, I feel that ISU might knock off OU. Let's just hope we can knock off KSU. I know if by chance we have a shot at going to a bowl game down to the last game, I will be in Manhattan, Ks for that game. GO CLONES!

Kansas sees us as a winnable game. We need to rise above all of that, step on their neck and not let up. We'll see what happens.

Hopefully we don't lay an egg vs. OU. We are their superbowl.

Does anybody else have this problem occuring? It gets old. Give us some cred! I agree with your sentiments. If we had ran out to a big early lead, and then they had come back to make it close, I think you could say that TT overlooked us, but the way it played out, they really didn't hang with us in any phase of the game. It's obvious that they are much better than they played, but we obviously belong on the field with them.
