Take a look back at the last six opponents Kansas faced
Take a look back at the last six opponents Kansas faced and where they stand in the top 25: Georgia Tech (22), Texas Tech (not ranked), Oklahoma State (3), Oklahoma (7), Kansas State (17) and Texas (first among others receiving votes). It's possible that riding such a high in Lubbock could work against the Cyclones given that Kansas, at this point, is the sort of opponent teams will look past. We might lose, but it's not going to be from overlooking them. Plus that is from a Jayhawk site.

K-Suck will be out of the top 25 very soon.

So just to summarize this board since the start of Big 12 play, everybody in the Big 12 overlooks everybody else.

ISU will be a focused team tomorrow. I have very little doubt that ISU wins. I hope it's a score very similar to the TT game, but I'll take a 1 point win.
As far as ISU giving up big rushing numbers, while it's true, you also have to take into consideration the caliber of the OL's and RB's ISU has faced. Waaaay better than that of KU's.

I think this team finally gets some swagger back and takes it to the J-Hawks.

Re: Take a look back at the last six opponents Kansas faced
It isn't who they have played, it is how they have played them, getting absolutely hammered in every game. ISU has played some pretty good teams in the last 6 weeks too, and they have not faired very well, but Kansas has been embarassed in every game, most of these games were over at the half, and if KU did anything, it was against the 2nd, 3rd string.

How about other teams figure us out because we don't do much on offense that is diverse? I guess you can say run run pass is diverse if you want, but I would call that easy to defend. Do we really need to have these weekly chats of great insight by Tom each week? Go back to the anonymous coach please!!!!! -
Re: Take a look back at the last six opponents Kansas faced
At least we got more than 46 yards on offense when we played against Texas. I really hope we don't screw up this one though! I don't want to hear bunch of garbage from everyone at work next week!

Re: Take a look back at the last six opponents Kansas faced
I believe that when we have given up significant rushing yards it was also partially to defend against the pass. If the weather, or KU's inability to pass make them one dimensional, I see a success defensively similar to Tech. I believe I heard that when Tech got way behind and had to pass they were much easier to defend. I like our odds in a rushing duel.

Least physically imposing team since NIU? You serious Clark? This team has played very physical football the last two weeks and was playing physical up until the Baylor game as well.

I heard callers acting like Minnesota and Indiana were better than KU on KXNO the other day. Obviously they were ignorant Big Ten homers, but the attitude is out there. KU beat a decent NIU team and handled the FCS team they faced, some of their losses are bad but the losses are all to good teams. These Big Ten bottom dwellers were getting POUNDED by several FCS teams, New Mexico State, Rice, Army, etc...more embarrassing than KU's season in every way.
ISU better be ready. It's a great opportunity to make a statement for the Cyclones.
