Missouri WV and Texas recruits
I have seen other newspaper columnists post their thoughts on this subject, but I would like to hear what other CF thoughts on the questions in my head.
Now that Missouri is in the SEC will they still be able to recruit in Texas and if so how effectively?
Does Missouri's move to the SEC provide ISU with more Texas recruits and if so how much effect?
Do you see West Virginia more aggressively perusing Texas recruits? West Virginia being so far from Texas hinder their ability to recruit in Texas?

Re: Missouri WV and Texas recruits
yes but not as effective. they still have tamu.
yes but minimal effect. more than likely it will benefit tcu more than us
yes but not with much immediate success. probably about the same amount of success as us.

Re: Missouri WV and Texas recruits
Winning, having a Great Coach, and being in the Big 12 will benefit us the most.
If Mizzou starts to lose on a regular basis, then look out.

ISU,KU,KSU should be concerned about SMU & Houston reaching BCS status. 7 AQ schools in Texas is going to start a hurting
Should be pushing for any & all expansion to the South East for recruiting purposes

Should be pushing for any & all expansion to the South East for recruiting purposes CUSA was not an AQ neither was the MW, the Big East adds teams from those conferences and losses Syracuse, WV, and Pitt right now. I want to know how they maintain that AQ with adding the teams they did. Plus the SEC, Big 10/12, ACC and PAC are going to push for 2 bids to the BCS. IMO Big East will lose its bid in 2013.

Should be pushing for any & all expansion to the South East for recruiting purposes It wont be the same Big East in a few years. All of the big name programs from the conference are being poached and being replaced with teams from C-USA and MWC. Ill be very surprised if they still have their automatic qualifier for the BCS in a few years

Re: Missouri WV and Texas recruits
houston probably has one of the most underated qbs in the college game in "case keenum". everybody says the stanford's qb "luck" will win the heisman. i think " keenum" is a better qb than "luck" and i also think "keenum" will have a better pro career than what "luck" will have when they are both in the in the pro ranks...

Re: Missouri WV and Texas recruits
How many players do you guys usually get from Texas per year?
-
Re: Missouri WV and Texas recruits
mizzou will get their texas recruits. pinkel is pretty tight with many of the coaches in east texas. they generally get 5-6 good athletes from the east texas region
