    He got bent back with his knee under him. The Bettendorf players kept bending him back, looked pretty cheap. I don't think I've ever seen someone tear any ligaments with that type of injury, but I'm sure it got sprained.

    Hopefully it's not too bad, but I bet the kid will be fine. It would be a bad note on which to end his high school career, but he's got plenty of time to get rested and ready to play as far as Iowa State is concerned, and that's probably what he's really looking forward to anyway.

    I'm sure going into the game last night he was looking forward to beating Bettendorf more than anything.
