Not saying that, but there is no comparison between the winds last week and Lubbock and what it will be like in Ames tomorrow. I dont care what anyone says, it affected the KU game two weeks ago. ISU will still have to put up at least 35 points to make this competitive.

The wind should become less of a factor after the sun sets and mixing of the air mass wanes.

Did you make a map of the air drafts in each college football stadium from each direction?

The wind speed in Lubbock was not a factor and was actually much higher than predicted for the game tomorrow.

• Actual winds last week @ Lubbock - 25-30mph sustained
  
• Predicted winds this week @ Ames - 10-15mph

That was 40 degrees warmer. The ball will weigh a ton for the receivers and it will feel like a block of concrete after 35 yards in the air. Running game better work.

Passes down the middle towards the north will do better straight into the wind than those to the far outside. Expect to see those outside passes to sail to the coaches. I would guard the middle and make Weeden throw outside.

Maybe if he's throwing a 25 yard out. The wind isn't going to have much effect on a well thrown 10 yard out. He isn't just lobbing it out there. It's thrown on a line at 60mph.

So where is this coach that related the winds at Jones AT&T Stadium to JTS? You have no basis for comparison.

I don't think the wind is going to slow down OSU a lot. I think that ISU's best chance is if Weeden has a bad game like at KSU. He threw one pick six and another one that was really close to a pick 6. I think that the DBs are really going to have to take a chances and go for the INT instead of hoping to stop them on downs. OSU is not like TT, they can actually run the ball if they have too.

We need OSU to head into Turnover City. They know it will be a bit colder and are prepairing for it as we speak, I'm sure. The D really needs to make it happen and force some in this game for a chance to win/compete. And no stupid personal fouls....please....especially if we hold them on a third down too. Thanks in advance.

Wind will not hurt Weeden nearly as much as it will Barnett... We don't want wind if we want a chance to win.

Our offense played pretty well against Kansas. Had 426 yard I believe. It was the 3 turnovers in plus territory that killed us. (Again)

We could use about 600 yards against OSU and 350 yards rushing. Just dial it up.
