Time for Lou to retire, he brings nothing to the table. Off to pick up a couple Natty Lite's and will return to root the Cyclones on to victory.

I would love to see a onside kick but my guess is OSU will be prepared for that so it probably wouldnt work

I was impressed with our first half performance, minus the miscues by the receivers and our missed field goal. Overall I can't complain a whole lot.
Here's to hoping Grandpa Weeden gets tired now that it's closer to his bed time.

Thought it didn't matter if time had ran out. A penalty still occured before the third quarter started. Kinda bs since they say the quarter can't end on a penalty.

Re: ***Official ISU vs Oklahoma State Gameday Thread***
I'm impressed. The coaches really had these guys ready. I think that bye week was big. Couple of obvious observations. 1. We got turnovers which is huge against this team. Unfortunately, no points. 2. The momentum of the game changed obviously on the pick 6, but a more subtle shift was that 3rd down sideline catch by some no name 4th string receiver. Weeden was dialed in after that.
Our guys should have all the confidence in the world they can play with this team. Strap it on for the 2nd half, let's hit em coming off the bus!

Re: ***Official ISU vs Oklahoma State Gameday Thread***
how is it weeden can play since he has played proffesional baseball? Doesnt that kinda ruin his amateur status? Regardless of if he made it to the big leagues, if he played in the minors and got paid it still not amateur. what the deal?
I'm not trying to be difficult, it comes naturally.... -

Except the penalty occurred after the quarter ended. If the penalty occurred during the play, even with 0:00 on the clock, then I'd take issue. But the play was called dead and the shove was well after the play was over. Half over.
Sucks, but I take no issue with the call.
