    Onside Kick

What a great call.. Told the person next to me that we would do it. Seems like we have it down perfect where Reeves catches it right on the side line. I'd like a percentage of how many onside kicks, fake punts, other trick plays have worked under CPR. Seem like they always work. Love it.

I can't believe they weren't ready for it. I was sitting here thinking "here comes the onside kick, nah it's too obvious they'll be ready for it."

I've been amazed at how many trick plays/ fakes/ onside kicks have worked under Rhoads and company as well. Outstanding. Go Cyclones!

I believe it was Watson made a great block on that that made it possible for Reeves to recover the kick

It's the time of the call, imo. The obvious was the good field position to start the half. The next kick-off, how our D was playing, not so much. GREAT CALL!

    Re: Onside Kick

Tremendous coaching by ISU tonight. My only concern was with Barnett throwing so much more than we were running it, but we saved the running game for when it counted - the second OT.

Loved the decision to sit on the ball at the end of regulation. Okie State was licking their chops to get it back with any amount of time left.

Loved the wheel route on the first play of OT. Wow, James White is the fastest back in the country when he's heading for the corner of the endzone!

Loved the switch to Guyer as the kicker early in the season. He's been awesome even if he did miss that kick in the first quarter.

    Re: Onside Kick

This may have been the best coached game I've ever watched...almost certainly the best coached ISU game anyway.
