Big 12 will try and screw Missouri hopefully and send them to the Pinstripe bowl

Texas bowl is possible. With how our fanbase travels, and it's against a Big 10 team so there's some regionally. Not exactly a long shot. Not the most likely, that'd be pinstripe, but it's possible.

Anyone think the Texas Bowl or Insight Bowl would want an Iowa/ISU rematch? Sure it wouldn't be a big TV draw and that is part of the equation when selecting teams, but the impact it would have on the local economy could be offset by the lack of the TV draw.

The game would sell out within hours and I would be willing to bet over 100,000 people would invade either Phoenix or Houston.

I've always thought an Iowa/Iowa State bowl game would be pretty cool and this might be the perfect year to do it.

I agree, this might be a perfect storm for this to happen this year, I don't think it will be the Insight though, but the Texas Bowl is a strong possibility for this. I can't imagine their TV draw is that great in the first place and like I said the impact on the Houston economy would be enormous and bigger then usual for this bowl game.

I think Iowa loses today, as well as at Nebraska; they haven't won on the road yet this season. No bowling if that is the case.

Iowa already has 6 wins and the rule about a 7-5 team being picked before a 6-6 team is no longer around. So even if they do lose the last two a 6-6 Iowa will get selected before a 7-5 Illinois, 6-6 Purdue, or 6-6 Northwestern.

we just need to keep plugging along and pick up a win at OU next week. this stuff will sort itself out. hope we don't have a sense of relief since we are eligible now...
