Remember about Oct 15th and everybody was starting threads on replacing Wally and Herman and Coach Rhoads owes us a apology. Shame on you short sighted fans.
Yeah, I'd just like to see everyone stay on board with our staff and players through the ups and downs. I know there is a point (see GMAC) where the writing is on the wall, and that's fine, but there are going to be good games, and bad games, and flat out insulting your own team is absurd.
Extremely, extremely few were ever questioning wally.
As for Herman? Good game yesterday, but on the whole in his 3 years we still struggle to score an adequate amount for a big 12 offense. (30ppg is a good benchmark, considering very few wins come to teams scoring less than 30 in this conf., only a handfull of games all year weren't, and we were a couple of those)
Maybe a better thread would be that we should be appreciating the coaching staff for having the insight for starting Barnett at QB.
I don't blame fans for being angry after October 15 because that was our 3rd loss in a row and it pretty bad. It was by far one of the worst losses we have had to opponent that many believed we could have beaten. That game also got ugly pretty fast. There were probably a few fans calling for Herman and Wally's jobs and I can see their point after the way we played against Missouri, but it would have to get really ugly for me to ever question CPR.
