playing with house money now, got 6 wins........got some confidence........anything is possible.
I will never say never with this team. It will take a heck of an effort, but I think they can do it if they play mistake free football.
I hate to say it, but OU really had their way through the air with ISU last year. There has been some improvement, but I just don't think that ISU can keep up with the sooners. For some reason they are machine like against ISU. If the Clones can keep it close the sooners have shown than can choke. The first thing is keeping it close.
It has to be tough for both teams to get focused this week, anything could happen.
We're going to have to own the time of possession battle again. That seems to be our key all of the sudden, which is funny, given that we have an OC that favors speed and keeping the defense on their heels. We hold the ball 32 minutes or more, we should be in the game.
I'm certainly not so bold as to predict a win in Norman, but I think K-State and their combination of solid ground game and a mobile QB present a worse matchup for our defense than the Sooners right now.
People have been asking me about this game and I don't know. It could go many different directions. If we can play mistake free football and get a couple of turnover we could win the game. It is really hard to count this team out. Go Cyclones!!
Jared Bennett has been able to control the ball more than Steele going the defense a chance to rest. The first ten minutes will be big.
I think very small chance, probably a lot less that OSU. However, somethign does seem off with this Sooner team. Their defense is just not that good. And their offense is not the same without Broyles. Not the same teams as maybe a month ago.Quote:

Did any of u watch the game vs baylor? It was a great game. These guys are not the same team they were a month ago. Lots of injuries. I think LJ on kenny stills and reeves on Reynolds are great match ups. They have a shifty running back named Roy finch who is a lot like our James white.
Man the more I look at this game, I don't think these guys are invincible at all. If we protect the ball ... Win the turnover battle 3-0, I really believe we come out on top.

2. This Oklahoma team couldnt beat baylor or tech in their own stadium.
