We hope some of these bandwagon fans catch the fever and buy season tickets. There is also the diehard fans that go the other way and as soon as we go on a losing streak they want coaches fired. Goes both ways. But 50,000+ for all 6 home games is incedible for Iowa State!

Okay okay I was wrong...
Bandwagon fans are great, they bring the Athletic Department more money which will ultimately get the SEZ bowled in, salary upgrades, everything.
sorry if i ****** anyone off with this, Bandwagon fans are great, but i don't want ISU fans to turn into Hawk fans, and at the first sight of adversity they flip and go back to hating ISU.

I live in Eastern Iowa and for most of the last 15 years a large portion of the Cedar Rapids business base and media has refused to support ISU becuase all the crap it brings from Tavernhawks. Hate them all you want but they do have influence. I just hope we pick up a few bandwagon fans that rent sky boxes.

That's fine if they want to build their business model by excluding ISU from their offerings. The flip side of that coin is I won't spend a dime in any Hawk-only business.

Even the Buffalo Wild Wings in Coralville has an ISU jersey on the wall.

I can't believe I'm the only ISU alum who plays it this way.
