Then again, Morrisey could end up moving inside and making noise there. I don't think Morrisey could move inside, he doesn't have the build to play inside. He was a lifeguard at the Ames Pool last summer and looks like an outside backer more than a DT. He is a very lean kid. even if he bulks up he is going to look more like Clay Matthews than Jake McDonough.

If he bulked up to play inside, McDonough is pretty close to what he would look like (albeit 2 inches shorter). He is close to Matthews weight right now.

Isn't be up to 275 now? Assuming he redshirts he's probably packing on more weight and not playing Lb...

I will be shocked if he ends up inside. I think he would end up at TE or an H-Back type spot before he plays interior D-line. Just my opinion.

I do not have any strong inclination he ends up inside, just that if does, his body composition and appearance will probably be very similar to McDonough.
At 245 he is only 10 pounds lighter than Clay. It would be pushing it to get another 20 pounds of only lean muscle on his frame.

Re: FOOTBALL RECRUITING: DE Cory Morrissey commits
If he is only 245 then he will most likely stay at DE. I could see TE if he can block and catch.. But that might be Lemke who moves there.

Re: FOOTBALL RECRUITING: DE Cory Morrissey commits
I have been hoping that Lemke goes back to TE. How many TEs are out there that have his kind of speed. I have often thought that if you had a Texas high school TE that was 6'4" and 220 that had those kind of track times, he would be rated as one of the top TE in Texas. Maybe he does not have the hands, for the position. We seem to me to be getting long on DEs and short on TEs. Just my opinion.

Re: FOOTBALL RECRUITING: DE Cory Morrissey commits
did lemke ever weigh 220? i saw him wrestle and he looked very thin. I am aware that wrestlers usually gain weight in the off season, but still...
