The BCS, after all, is mainly a way of allocating bowl spots amongst bowls that traditionally only gave those spots to those AQ conferences anyways. And as i recall it wont really be 'the bcs' deciding, but the individual bowls selecting according to their BCS selection order. Which one is going to select Boise? OSU has a higher computer ranking than Alabama, yet we're going to be stuck with the LSU-Alabama rematch. You heard one of those schools didn't even win their division this year, right?

It will be interesting to see if the Voters bump OSU ahead Bama. If they beat OU big I think it could happen

The loser of the Big 10 pillow fight not to fall below TCU.
Virginia Tech to win.
With Baylor winning the way they did against UT, seems to me that it will be hard for both TCU and Michigan to both end up in the top 14. In that event, seems like it will be OU, KSU and Boise as the potential choices for the last BCS spot.

TCU on;y has to be in top 16 and ahead of the Big east champ to get in

Also, those ratings averages are very close, only .02 apart currently, vs the .10, .12, and .25 differences of B12 teams to Boise State. (and youre talking about Alabama being #2 and OSU #3 compared to the wider spread between the b12's 3\5\6 and BSU's 9th place computer ranking)

Re: Big XII - 2 in BCS??
Its likely not really going to matter. OU winning gives a better chance that Michigan won't get into the top 14 to be an atlarge selection. But OSU winning bu blow out could push them by Bama and into the title game

KSU doesn't have a chance to get a BCS bid as they aren't a good team and don't have the fan reputation needed. If Michigan is eligible, they'll go because they put butts in the seats and ratings on the TV.

Not in the computers for sure, and itd be a fairly large poll drop as well.

Re: Big XII - 2 in BCS??
Here's another couple of things to consider.
1. If Clemson wins they may jump Michigan in the BCS rankings.
2. If OSU blows out OU then maybe pollsters jump them over Alabama and into the title game. If that's the case then the Sugar takes Alabama and you have Michigan vs Bama to start next year's season so the 2 schools may not want that match up.

There's no way pollsters will jump #5 OSU over #2 Alabama. Even if they win 80-0

I don't think you would see the computers drop them by more than 2 spots and I doubt you would have voters push them much more than 4-5 spots regardless of the loss. So you are looking at OU falling to 12-13, perhaps 14 at worse if they lose bad; in other words they are not dropping behind Michigan even with a loss to the #2/3 ranked team.
Michigan doesn't play, so it is all up to the teams around them. At this point Houston will take a big drop, but I'm not sure if it would be enough to fall below Michigan. You're looking a both Georgia and perhaps the B1G loser to fall below them, then they have to hope that either TCU or Baylor can't jump ahead of them (note I firmly believe Baylor will pass them) thus odds still seem to be against Michigan at this point.

How far behind Bama is OSU in the BCS rankings?
