Big XII - 2 in BCS??

Looking more likely now. Bowl situation looks like:

BCS & Cotton - OK State, Oklahoma, & K-State
Insight/Alamo - Texas & Baylor
Meineke Car Care - Texas A &M
Holiday/Pinstripe - ISU & Mizzou


My prediction - ISU to the Holiday Bowl

Hopefully. Have to hope TCU doesnt get up to #16 to get a BCS bid, the SEC doesnt get a 3rd(!) bcs spot, or if one of those 2 happen, Michigan get a second bid before us. (which would be total BS given we've got 3 teams ranked ahead of their top ranked team)

Yep. If you look at the computer rankings its even more evident. #3, 5, 6. If we dont get 2 BCS bowls (because the big 10 got 2) its an absolute joke.

If LSU doesn't start playing better the SEC is going to have 3 in the BCS so all this would be moot.

I don't think the B12 gets 2 teams in unless Baylor jumps Michigan and knocks Michigan out of top 14. I think TCU gets into the top 16. We likely won't get a preview because the Fiesta will take Stanford but I want a B12 preview with an Oklahoma school vs TCU in the Fiesta.

15) Wisconsin
16) Michigan
17) Baylor

I don't see any way that TCU jumps Baylor with Baylor's win over Texas. So to get to 16 TCU has to jump MSU/Wis loser and Georgia. That would almost definitely mean Michigan jumped them too.

Also, interestingly, the computers already have Michigan ranked above MSU and Wisconsin right now. So Michigan isn't going to get much of a bump in the computers.

So I think it's looking good for the Big 12 to get two bids. I have to be honest and say I think the computers have the Big 12 a little overrated, but I'll take it as I think the Big 12 clearly deserves 2 bids.

None of the BCS bowls will have a choice if Michigan doesn't crack the top 14...

The big question is whether Baylor jumps Michigan or not... that will affect alot. and also how far will Houston drop?

Big 12 absolutely dominates the computer 1/3 of the BCS ranking. You'd think that would mean two but who knows they have a Jeff Woody for crappy B1G teams.
