What are your expectations for ISU football in 2012?

I know we just completed the regular season and have a bowl upcoming but it is not too early to be excited with what we have coming back. I expect 7-5. We lose a great tackle and CB but outside of that our loses are a push. Subtract Mizzou and A&M who A&M we have not fared well against and I say we beat TCU and Wv next seaon.

Expecting 2-1 in the non-conference at worst.

@Texas - maybe?
@Okie State - probably not
@TCU - maybe?
@Kansas - should win
K-State - should win at home
Tech - should win
Baylor - should win (RG3 dependant)
Oklahoma - who knows, probable loss
WV / other non-conference game? - if non-conference - should win, if WVU - toss up at home

Seeing another 6 wins, would be extremely satisfied with 7+ wins

I think the Big 12 takes a step back in strength next year (having nothing to do with the exodus of Mizzou and A$M and the inclusion of WVA and TCU). Meanwhile, ISU keeps a lot of their core personnel. I don't want to pump up next year too quickly, but it could be a special year in Ames...

Looking at the schedule, I don't see us getting many more than this year. One key would be for us to go undefeated in our OOC schedule. Going to IC will be the toughest obviously, but the other two should be W's.

Does anyone know what the latest is on the inclusion of WVU?

Why? Our SOS will not be as tough next year and we should be more improved as a team.
