2000+ ISU tickets already sold for Pinstripe bowl
Not too shabby considering K-State only sold 3,200 last year. Nearly 2,000 tickets sold for ISU, Pinstripe Bowl | Des Moines Register Staff Blogs
Two days after it was announced Iowa State would play Rutgers in the Pinstripe Bowl, the school has sold roughly 2,000 tickets.
The Cyclones’ allotment is 4,000.
For information on attending the game, go to Cyclones.com. Prices range from $45 to $115.
I’ve been mapping things out, and a subway ride to the game is just a few dollars.
I’ve also been told the Empire State Building will be lit up in Cardinal and Gold the night before the game.
Starting to look like a once-in-a-lifetime experience for Cyclone followers.

Last year they had one side of the ESB lit in orange & the other side purple the night before the game.
You DEFINITELY want a picture if it's lit in ISU colors

Probably will be lit with red for Rutgers and Gold for us. Likely won't be able to tell the difference between our cardinal and their red so it will look like it is just for ISU. Should be cool.

give me a little time and I'll add 4 to that....just need a few people to commit to going (ISU bowl game sounded like a cool bachelor party....just expensive)

I really liked Chris's idea that even if you can't go to consider purchasing a ticket as a donation
Hilton Coliseum was specifically built to hold in sound with a solid concrete structure, steel doors, and a crowd that sits just a few feet from the court. With a fan base that frequently ranks among the nations largest crowds, players from opposing teams, as well as Iowa State, have said that the floor has shaken due to the loudness of the crowd -

Can you see the Empire State Building from Yankee Stadium on a clear day?

How do you donate the ticket?
I don't do signatures. Blondes, brunettes, and red heads are a different story. -

Is there an easy way to buy a pair and donate them to a boys and girls club or Big Brothers/Big Sisters organization in NYC?
