student section for yankee stadium

so im a student and going to the bowl game. i really dont feel like standing at the game so i dont think i will. i understand doing it for home games and at hilton.. what did the students due at the insight bowl? its not really fun standing for three hours and it might look really dumb if only 100-200 students are standing.

At the insight bowl the student section was pretty big. It was right next to the band and was pretty rowdy. I don't think there will be as many students in NY but i'd bet they'll be fired up.

Go figure. We're playing a team thats based 30 miles from NY in NY. I think most would assume it'd be a home game for us if we were playing Rutgers in Des Moines.

If anything, you're going to be more rowdy and crazy at bowl games than a regular game at JT or Hilton. It's always that way at bowl games.
And no, It won't look dumb if only 200 or so students are standing because chances are a lot of other Cyclone fans are standing too. Every bowl game I've been to the entire fanbase tends to stand a lot more.

Yep, the student section at the Insight Bowl in 2009 was WAY rowdy. All the students stood the whole time, as did most of the Cyclone fans in attendance. Folks who would normally be sitting down in the Jack stood nearly the whole game in Tempe. Colder weather and playing in a baseball stadium where every seat is two timezones away from the field of play might make a difference, but we'll see.
