    Big 12 Financials

Thought this was an interesting article on Big 12 revenues over the past 2 years for mbb and fb. Although we check in well behind Texas ($111 million) and OU ($67 million), at $28 million in combined revenue we are only slightly behind Missouri ($35 million) and Tech ($32 million), on par with WV ($28 million) and KSU ($27 million) and ahead of KU ($21 million) and Baylor ($21 million). I am quite confident that our revenue has only gone up this year with our increased ticket sales for fb and mbb. Since our wbb, volleyball and wrestling attendances are all top 10, I would think that we might do even better if you look at non-revenue sports as well. For comparison of potential expansion targets, Tulane has a combined revenue of $8 million, Louisville is surprisingly high at $66 million, Rutgers is at $23 million, UConn at $25 million and Cinci at $19 million.

    Re: Big 12 Financials

Am I reading that chart correctly that Baylor has LOST money over the last two years by having a top 25 basketball team and a top 3 individual player?

Texas is just not a basketball state. Good for us playing on the road if we ever get it together.

    Baylor has horrible basketball attendance.

On a scale of 1-100 with 100 being the most shocked, I'll be a 2 when they get slapped with recruiting violations.
