Took the afternoon off next Friday to cheer on the Clones. Is there an official place to watch the game in Cedar Rapids? If not where is everyone going to be?

It is the official ISUAA of Linn County gamewatch location. Free appetizers and lots of good TVs. I suspect they will put the group in the back room. The owner of the Tilted Kilt was pro-ISU, but I will be very surprised if the owner of the FH isn't pure Hawkeye. I don't like to frequent this place because of it's Hawkeye slant, but if I were in town I would go to this event.

Do you have to be an Alumni Association member to join the gamewatch since there are appetizers and stuff? I never felt like I got any benefits out of the AA so I redirected that money to the Foundation instead a few years ago.
I'm hesitant to go to an Iowa bar on the day of an Iowa bowl game though. Are we sure this isn't a trick?

ISUAA events like this are open to all alumni and friends.

Outstanding turn out by the Cedar Rapids area ISU fans at the Fieldhouse today. The place was packed with 200+ Cyclone fans, there were a few hawk fans - but they were supportive.
The Fieldhouse staff was shocked at the turnout today.

I was there and it was great to see an Iowa bar turned Cardinal and Gold today. Thanks for the Alumni Association people who organized it!

That’s one way to impress bar owners in what is perceived to be Hawk land! Great work guys!
Had 200 plus at the gamewatch here in the Twin Cities also. I was pretty shocked since I told the manager maybe 50 or more for a weekday afternoon game. Only downside, other than the crappy game performance, was that they did not have enough help on staff for that big of a crowd. Our biggest draw for one of our gamewatches in years and the biggest ever for football outside of the Iowa game a few years ago.
