Thats interesting, since it wasnt good enough to have a color picture of it in the Sunday paper, (too late for a story in Saturdays paper). Also wasnt good enough to have as much coverage as the Iowa win at Purdue. Screw both the Rag and Gazette.

Zero respect. I ripped the CR Gazette sports editor that Saturday morning because they didn't even bother sending a reporter to Ames the night earlier. Zero respect.

At least they tried to make up for dropping the ball coverage wise by making it their story of the year.

The Rag just wants to pretend it didn't happen because they were too inept to get a good picture of it. The Michigan game must have been a bigger story. I mean that old guy got there really early to get in his spot. It must have been a huge game!

The Gazette also had a pretty good review of the ISU year:

I don't know how they covered ISU during the year, but it's sad that a paper in the back yard of UI has an article like this and the Rag....... well they continue to be the Rag.

All media outlets must delegate maximum resources and distribute coverage equally among all facets of existence, with the assumption all moments will be unprecedented.

I don't recall the pictures but it was the front page story on the sports page that Saturday.
