Anyone have any guesses on who it could be? I'll throw one out of left field: Atif Austin. Former cyclone DB, former RB/special teams coach at UNI and very possibly could've been recruited by Rhoads back in the late 90's. He's available now after being dismissed from his head coaching job at a Florida high school for what seemed like not getting along well with alumni.
Anyway that is my wild guess of a pick for WR coach, it would be nice to see some former players on staff.
This, I want as much influence in Texas as possible.

does he have any experience with the position? My guess is with all the coaching changes that there will be quite a few good non- BCS schools that have undegone a change of staff, and a few WR coaches will be floating around. For instance a Jason Phillips form Houston. I think he would have probably have been a better candidate for OC, as he was at Houston, and you probably can't get him at just the WR spot.
I ran into Austin Flynn the evening of Dec. 22nd. He was very nice and friendly. Indicated he was here interviewing for the a wide receivers coaching position.

Phillips would be awesome but would be a step down for him to just be a WR coach. I read he had an interview for the FIU head coaching job. Jason Candle would be good I just wish he had Texas ties.
