Are we sure he switched from Southern Miss to ISU. To my knowledge CW hasn't even confirmed it.

Re: Devlyn Cousin commits
This doesn't look like a commitment to me. His profile was just updated by rivals. Devlyn Cousin - Yahoo! Sports -
Re: Devlyn Cousin commits
Scout has him as a verbal to ISU. Maybe Rivals is having a hard time getting in contact with his coach. Who knows.

Re: Devlyn Cousin commits
Scout has been sketchy in the past so hopefully they didn't relay crap info.

This years signing day will be much more interesting than last years.

In fact, shorter DTs are more coveted than the taller guys because the theory goes that they can get better leverage over taller OLs. Low man wins most battles on the line of scrimmage.

Because we have had a few late decommits, we also may have a few late commits that the staff has just redoubled their efforts on.
We'll see what the staff does. They may not want to waste a scholly on a player that they don't like enough, looking to bank the scholly for an early enrollee next year. Or, they may attempt to sign and place someone who is a risk to qualify. Or, they may float a scholly to a kid that noone expects but they think has a lot of upside.
