Re: Anyone else think it is funny?

Rutgers fans on here were great, and before the game were great. And then after the game, a whole other side showed. Obviously him being hired away would be just like Rhoads being hired away from us, duh. But it's NOT Rhoads being hired away from us, so that's why the OP is saying it's funny. I'm pretty sure we would all find it funny if KF got hired away from EIU, which would be just like Schianno being hired away from RU, which would be just like Rhoads being hired away from us. Get over it people, it's not us.

They have their work cut out for them.

I was just thinking that 3 or 4 years might be just enough time for PSU to try and put the scandal behind them. They will can their current desperation hire. Then Schiano can ride in on his white horse and take them to the top10 again. It's never good to be the guy that follows a legend. It usually works out better to have that buffer in between.

Still not getting how it is funny. By what I read here and reports of those who attended the fans weren't d-bags, so I don't find their predicament funny. I don't roll that way.

I just wish they would have announced it before the bowl game and thrown that program into disarray.

You wanted their program in disarray for the benefit of us, right? I completely understand that. And to all the people who had pleasant meeting with the Rutgers fans, that's great for them. I for one, also enjoyed the help of Rutgers fans, like I said, until AFTER the game. Then, by all accounts, they were d-bags. There were 2 fans I recall that were still generous after the game, but for the most part they were extremely arrogant and rude. Maybe that's why the OP thought it was funny, because that's why I think it's funny. It only takes one experience to tarnish what you think of a team/fan base. I had that experience.

Fair enough. I missed that part in your previous post.
