This series is really even. 43-42-1 in series... 93-92 in points... 4-4 overall with schools alternating wins.
There never seems to be much fanfare for whoever wins the Cy-Hawk Series....just the football game.
Basically all the home games coinside each year and the trophy goes to the team with the home games.
The reason the Cy-Hawk series is worthless and virtually tied is because it isn't a balanced deal. Every other year 80% of the events are hosted by one team, and then the following years it is hosted by the other. IF they wanted this to be a competition they would at the least have the Mens bball and football games split up each year. This year we go/went to Iowa 3 times and one of those is gymnastics where we face them home and away. Next year, it will be reversed and Iowa will win...
Too bad Iowa Corn doesn't have the past results like that Hy-Vee site had, guess Hy-Vee must be stealing a lot of their consumers so they don't even want to reference that this series is almost a decade old. Thanks Wikipedia
