Ah...I had seen the Arkansas St threads, just lost track of who the names were. I think they could have something going on down there. A lot of players wanting to make a name for themselves and start up something special.

Last time I rememeber a big grab was sedrick johnson. Didn't turn out too good. A boring signing day is good for us. Means they are committed and CPR got guys he wanted (not saying all but still ones he valued).

Wasn't Quinton Pompey a late signee? That wasn't too long ago.

Ironic on the OU web page thats filled with 3 & 4 star guys, the headline reads Simon is signed....its like they think he will be a real player for them. We all know the kid was talented, but, i think we signed some quality kids. It will be interesting to follow both Simon and our kids, to see which develops into an all big 12 corner!

He is the only high school CB they signed in this class and he was a Mike Stoops guy. Mike Stoops has only been back at OU for about a month and was able to snag Simon. That is likely what the article is about. I am guessing it is more of a Mike Stoops love fest article than a Simon article. I am not an insider to Rivals.

Watched the video on Damien Lawry. He was a product of the Texas Tech game. He went to that game to check out Tech but liked the direction we were going!!

I would say yes, especially with the Hollis scholarship opening up. The staff will still keep an eye open until camp opens for a juco.

Next years running backs. Running back is the least important position as far as needs go.
