You are talking players that went directly to coaching at BCS schools with no experience. If your argument is that GA work first at BCS schools is experience for position coaches, I understand the argument. My point is that it is very common for players to start their coaching careers at their alma mater regardless of it is a BCS school. I would say that Hobbs' NFL career under Belicheck and Reid far outranks GA work. FWIW - Barrow went from playing career to BCS position coach with a 1 year hiatus.
