Shane Burnham

My Dad, brother and I talked to Shane Burnham for a little bit last night at the recruiting party. He was having a good time. My Dad likes to print out the incoming recruiting classes for the last 4 years and have the coaches run down the list of guys, telling us what they think of each. It was great.

Every coach we talked too couldn't stop talking about Devondrick Nealy. A direct quote from Shane Burnham about him; "This guy can run through a shower and not get wet". Apparently in the South this means your fast and good at football.

I've talked to Wally and Shane at a couple different events. They are both genuinely good guys and we are VERY lucky to have them on the staff. I'm glad to hear the coaches were having some fun last night. Fall practice led to the season, which led to bowl practice, which led to the stretch run for recruiting and signing day. I'm guessing this is the first time they've "relaxed" in quite awhile.
