ISU Football Withdrawls - Whats your top 3?

I just decided to flip on the OSU-ISU game to play in the background while I am working and got me thinking about who I am most excited to see play next year. What is your top three (or four)?

    Offense:
    Barnett/Jantz of course
    Jarvis West
    DeVondrick Nealy

    Defense:
    Jacques Washington
    Jeremy Reeves
    David Irving

    Jarvis West

"Hey I just met you, and this is crazy, but here's my number, so call me maybe?"

Also," Withdrawals". Unless we're going to start recruiting the south exclusively.
I'd agree with you, but then we'd both be wrong.

Re: ISU Football Withdrawls - Whats your top 3?

    1. I'd start with a HEALTHY Jake Knott. IMO Klein really picked up his game this past year and getting Knott at full speed beside him is going to be huge.

    2. The return of Shontrelle Johnson. James White is a good back, but he's not an every down back. Shontrelle is a complete RB and if he's cleared to play, he's going to start.

3a. Steele Jantz. I think that with an offseason, he's going to improve a lot.

3b. I can't wait to see the improvement Farniok and Gannon make after starting as RSFR.

As far as newcomers and guys coming off redshirt, I'm really excited to see Brun, Bundrage, Morrissey, Mutcherson, Pompey, Nealy and Stokes.

Mine has to be at the TE position. Not only who plays it, but simply how we will continue to use it.

    1) A more downfield attacking passing game which will in-turn open the underneath routes with less traffic.

    2) The emergence of a fast stingy aggressive attack defense led by our LB's Klein & Knott.

    3) A breakout season from one of the most under-appreciated players on the roster; Aaron Horne.

I don't think any of our current backs are "every down backs," hence the runningback by committee we saw even when SJ was healthy.
"No matter how many hours you study opponent films, there's only going to be eleven players on the other side of the line of scrimmage." - Sid Gillman

It's a simple game in which strategic beauty comes not from being surprised by some new clever trick, but from the sublime, routine brilliance of a master in his element.
