Great stuff, really making me miss football.

Can't wait to see if Nealy and Standard can make an impact this year.

Re: Part 2 of my interview with RB's coach Ken Pope

Pope is awesome. He's really been around the block and I get the feeling that the RBs love playing for him. His responses in the article make him seem like a great teacher and motivator.

    Great stuff C-Dub!

These were fun to read. You should do more with different position coaches

Great job Chris. Coach Pope seems like a fun and enthusiastic guy.

Re: Part 2 of my interview with RB's coach Ken Pope

So it sounds like Shontrelle being able to play this year is still really up in the air, isn't it? I don't like the sounds of that.

I hope for Shontrelle's sake, and the team's, that he is able to play this year. Anyone know what kind of chance he has of making it back?

Thanks for the kind words everybody. I'm glad that you liked the piece. Coach Pope is one of the most interesting men I've ever had the opportunity to interview. He's coached some outstanding football players over the years. The plan is to do more of these in the very near future so stay tuned!

    Good stuff.

Between these interviews and the awesome speech Pope gave at the Recruiting Party this year, he's really become one of my favorite assistants. Probably 2nd only to Wally at this point.

I loved both articles. Seeing how White and Woody emerged as great RBs last year, I have a ton of faith that the guys coming off redshirt years will also have a big impact.
