re: Broncos interested in Leonard Johnson..
Glad to see he is getting some love. Can Mods fix the spelling?
“It’s beyond pride. It’s a restored trust. There’s a confidence again, a passion that teeters on swagger. More than anything, (Iowa State head coach Paul Rhoads) has restored the Iowa State “it” factor, the steadfast belief that it is great to be a Cyclone...the man’s enthusiasm is genuine to the core...” – columnist Sean Keeler, Des Moines Register -

Definitely want to see Leonard in Denver.

I'd love to see any cyclone be an NFL starter...just so I can see or hear them say "*insert player here*, Iowa State*" on TV.

"There are better athletes than Johnson awaiting the April 26-28 draft, but Johnson could be a better NFL player than a lot of them."

The final piece to the dream team?

re: Broncos interested in Leonard Johnson..
I think the key for LJ will be to land on a team that really needs CB help and to hit the ground running.
I think his combine dropped him a few rounds and because of that teams will probably value their higher picks more when training camp comes around. He needs to be on a team that really needs CB help. Then he can get the practice reps he needs to prove how good of a player he is.
I think it he actually gets a chance that he could start for a lot of teams. His potentially low draft selection will put him in a tough position for getting that shot.

That would be awesome. Might have to buy a new Broncos jersey!!!

What better person to help teach LJ the CB position than Champ Bailey. LJ to Denver YES PLEASE. I'm still ticked that Denver let Reggie get away.

re: Broncos interested in Leonard Johnson..
I was just thinking this morning that Broncos could use some secondary help and that they should pick up LJ. That would be awesome!

Re: Broncos interested in Leonard Johnson..
Some of those scouts said he had "horrible speed" at the combines. And I guess that seeing the numbers, I wouls somewhat agree. I would really hope though, that NFL scouts are smarter than just looking at numbers. Just get some game film on the guy and you would see why you want him on your team. Hell, just put in the video of ISU beating OK St. and you'll see a good reason why ISU won that game.
I understand that good college player doesn't necessarily translate into NFL talent, but with who LJ faced last year, I have a tough time believing he wouldn't be a good get. Yeah, you've got to have speed to keep up with the receivers, but that position is so much about angles, anticipation and positioning that if you look soley at the numbers, you might be missing a great football player.

Wouldn't that **** off a bunch of you...

I have never liked the Cowboys, even when everyone jumped on the bandwagon with the Big 3.
However, if they were to draft LJ and he has a chance to start for them, I will have a lot more respect for the Cowboys. I will probably try and watch them on TV as well.
I wont say that I will become a Cowboy fan, because that might make me throw up, but they will deffinitely move up a few slots in my book.
