It definitely was a factor in the Rutgers game. I don't remember it so much about the UConn game.
When Rhoads said before the Pinstripe Bowl that Jantz was "better prepared" for the bowl game (or something like that), I think he meant that Jantz would have a better chance of reacting to the anticipated blitzes. A few more Woody runs right past a blitzer might have helped.
