    Actually I think the Mascot and the Corn trophies are better than the previous Cy-Hawk Trophy.

    Mascot Trophy is pretty decent IMO.

    I think all three concepts are better than the last three trophies (the original, the farm family, and the interim).

    As far as the question "why does it have to have a football?" Well, it doesn't have to have a football, but it is a football trophy - what do you want on there, a hockey puck?

    And as far as the question "why does it have to have corn involved?" Well, it doesn't have to have corn, but first, corn is what the state of Iowa is best known for (worldwide), and second, the Iowa Corn Growers are sponsoring the trophy and are going to want input on the design, so corn is going to be involved in the theme. Don't like it? Then pony up millions of dollars to sponsor the trophy yourself and then you can pick the theme yourself.

    Like I said, I'll take any of the three, but I voted for 2.
