Well to be honest, Clemson did not even deserve to be in the game. They were in the second to worst league last year and the league sent two bids to the BCS. Didnt only 2 ACC teams win a bowl game last season?
your words are hurtful...
But seriously, you are partially correct, obviously the difference in quality was fairly large. The only argument I have is that the ACC is still an auto-bid conference and Clemson won it so they deserve a bid. Va Tech to the sugar bowl however...
Really looking forward to playing the Mountaineers and excited to have them in the conference. I'm not counting the Cyclones out of any games this year, and I hope it's a good game.

Any ISU fan that is not afraid of this game has been drinking Kool Aid or watching too many ISU/OK State replays.........
I don't know about should win the Big 12, but definitely a contender. They have tons of talent (Smith, Austin, and Bailey are as good as it gets), but I still have the give the edge to Oklahoma because they know the Big 12. Then again, so does Holgorsen.
Disagree with the Big 12 being down "quite a bit". I really believe that it will be even better than last year. I mean, just look at us, we're going to have a solid team (best in Rhoads era, supposedly), but I still see us 9-7th in the Big 12 this upcoming year.
Adding West Virginia and TCU definitely make the Big 12 better.
But where is all the talent returning? OSU and Baylor will both be down from last year. Who is rising? We will a little. KSU may but neither of us are likely to go 9-3 or challenge. I just don't see a team (outside of OU) that has better players than WVU. Look what WVU did to LSU. That offense will be rolling.

Texas could all of a sudden rise up again but I don't see it this year. OU will be good but I just think WVUs offense is going to be so good in a league where points win.

Everyone plays the same teams. They won't be surprised.
