So if I head correctly it's going to come out facing the pillar for the screboard. That should have good visual interest on gameday. Just don't run into the scoreboard guys.

I thought the tunnel thing was a pretty well known fact. Wasn't there a schematic released a long time ago?

For a while it was rumored to have gone away due to too much mechanical in the hill.

I was under the impression that was the reason it couldn't go straight through the hill and come out at field level. The tunnel was planned to come out at the top of the ramp and we still get the McCarney era walk down (on the opposite side) that everybody loved along with the tunnel.
