I never said it was on par. It's close enough to ISU's program that a guy isn't going to magically put on 20 lbs just by training for 3 months in Ames.

Well I guess we will see, but I can promise you he will put on more weight and will be on a different strength and conditioning program than that of Wyoming. At 6'3" he may not have a huge frame, but anyone can gain weight it just depends on how the coaches want the weight to be gained.

Not true. Only had 3 LB's in the past 10 years that have weighed in between there and zero that weighed above 250. Knott and Klein were under 240 until this past year as well. All stats are of them in their last year at Iowa State.
Knott 243
Klein 243
Tauffo 235
Morgan 210
Broomfield 200
George 215
Morton 207
Garrin 227
Raven 230
Smith 234
Bibbs 234
Banks 227
Bowen 215
McKenzie 230
Dobbins 245
Brown 230
Robertson 230
Whitaker 230

Avg weight is 227 and that is only including the guys that mainly played. You take the backups and the weight would be under 220.

How about you just admit that your post that you thought he was going to put on 20-30 lbs in 3.5 months was wrong?

That kid isn't gaining 20 pounds of good weight. You make that kind of physical jump from your SR in HS to your Sophmore year in college. You max out. Doesnt have anything to do with strength programs its biology, he's grown
Re: RECRUITING: Football adds a DT who can play next season
I have a hard time believing Knott weights 243

And the best lbs on that list minus Ace are weighing more than 240 and playing on Sundays.
