I'd have to agree with Phil on James White's 3rd Team projection. The kid is a stud and absolutely LOVE the speed he brings to the table. He gets into the secondary he can outpace almost any DB. I think he matures this year learns to wait for holes to open then explode through them.

^^^^ I couldn't agree more. He is so explosive, but so is ShonJohn. We have 2 very quick backs that can make guys miss. Should be a good season on the ground.

I don't think that little extra ceiling (if it is even true) is more valuable than an entire season of experience for Barnett, who could still grow and develop for a couple more years after this season.
Barnett won't even be the starter when he is a senior.

The only way Barnett sees another start at QB is if one of those two get hurt. Its not that hes a bad QB either, I wouldn't be worried about losing with him at the helm. I just personally feel the other two will be better.

Oh Steele conversations....last summer it was speculation...then he amazed us...then scared us...then won again...then benched. I just want whoever wins the battle to be comfortable...no more first year jitters.

I love Jantz as an athlete and his ceiling is probably a little bit higher than JB's. However, I love JB as a leader and think that the guys really played hard for him last season. It's a toss-up. Question: what has JB (or SJ for that matter) done to show they are a leader? For two guys that are trying to win the starting quarterback, I haven't seen anything that says either is a clear leader.

Thought I heard that from AA.

If he could have come close to any of that in more than one game, then you have a case. Triple overtime helps pad your stats just a little. But even with that great game, he still managed to not do better than SJ in any passing categories... weird.

And FootballinTexas and RustShack are at it again...

JB threw one pass in OT. I also agree SJ had better passing stats but he also played in more games. Your point is..SJ never bettered the Iowa game either so shut your trap.
