    Division One football attendance by school

    Very interesting where Iowa State ranks in attendance with other universities. Very impressive! Some reading for a holiday weekend.

    ISU deals with most obsessed fan base in all of American sports...that happens to be a college football fan base...just a short drive to the west. Then they also have another pretty intense but not as single minded fanbase just a couple hours to the east and share the whole state with them.

    So it's easy to think that's the norm and forget there's Minnesota, KSU, KU, and Missouri all in the same basic region that don't get near the support and actually get less than ISU in many ways. I like ISU's fanbase and athletic department and the direction it's going with obvious momentum...at least we don't all bust out Drake gear every single winter for basketball.

    On the flip side new comer Clemson has a huge stadium/crowd inside a student body campus about half of ISU.
