I'm on Twitter too: Tre4ISU

Given the potential at their positions though, it is very possible they do redshirt unless theres some serious injury. I can see White not getting the redshit. Netten obviously wont. Mutcherson? Can he even RS? And Stokes.

You may be right. But Darius did have surgery on his shoulder following Manatee's State Championship game.

Re: New players listed on roster now
Any body think Quan West could see some time? Tallest receiver on the team and damn near biggest as well besides JQ. At 6 foot 4 205 he has the frame to come in and contribute.
We have a decent amount of WRs but who knows with injuries/discipline issues. I think he will be a great WR in 2-3 years.

While I might expect that all (aside from Nettern, and maybe White) would redshirt, I realized the other day that CPR has the program at a stage where you don't desperately HOPE that everyone redshirts--just so they are around for five years. That would be Kurt Hammerschmidt.
And as far as Quan West's actual height, on Signing Day Shane(?) referred to him as about "6'2 1/2 or 6'3"--about the same size and Money Reynolds". And that's a quote, as direct as I can recall four months later. Watch the vid if you don't believe me.
"Hey! I'm building something here!"

Re: New players listed on roster now
Man, it bothers me how 2 players can have the same jersey number. I think there should be 100 numbers. 00-99. A player should have to "earn" their number. It is so confusing and annoying when there are 3 players with the same number.

It is so confusing and annoying when there are 3 players with the same number. Or the NCAA could step in and set a roster cap of 100. Four-deep at every position is plenty. Then pass legislation that no two scholarship athletes can wear the same jersey number unless there is an unavoidable conflict due to numbering regulations.
A side benefit is that it also means saving money to the tune of 30-40 players' worth of equipment and other expenses, and freeing up 30-40 participation spots to allow for more Title IX breathing room.

I've seen Quan in person and he is at least 6'4 and probably closer to 6'5 and has a big frame - he could be a good one.

Are there any signed commits not on the roster?

We have Knott, Klein, George, Miller, CJ Morgan, and Matt Morton. I guess if we have any injuries, he might have to provide depth?
Or do you mean that he needs to play this year so that he has some experience under his belt when he will HAVE to play the following year? Because yes, after Knott and Klein leave, all we will have is George, Miller and Morgan. Guys like Darius White, Kane Seeley, and Adam Pavlenko will have to step it up the following year.
