WVU the day after Thankgiving?

I was just over on their boards, they are posting the date on their single game order forms as Friday Nov, 23. Cyclone.Com still has it as the 24th

I think it would be cool if we could keep this game with WV on the friday after thanksgiving if this turns out to be true.

Much prefer Saturday to Friday for this one. No reason to play on Friday, plus there will be more students back from Thanksgiving break for a Saturday game.

As a student, I would love to see this game played on Friday, as long as it is not an 11:00 start. Students will be gone for break, but me personally, I'm ready to come back to campus the Friday after Thanksgiving, whether there's a game or not. I just don't want to have to come back on Thursday night.

2:30 on the Friday after Thanksgiving would be great.

As a student, I'd like to see this game played on Saturday. There is a great chance I wont be in Ames the day following thanksgiving.

those of you who want it on friday im curious why?

more people are able to watch it on saturday as im guessing this one wont crack the national tv lineup on friday since those seemed to be planned well in advance for that day (like in they seemed to be scheduled already it seems)

Like our Oklahoma State game, we have the opportunity to get focused attention because there aren't so many other games vying for the attention of the TV audience.

That was the Friday before Thanksgiving, where we were the only BCS football game playing that night.

In 2011, there were 14 Division I college football games played the Friday after Thanksgiving, including the Iowa-Nebraska game we would have to deal with.

One of 14 games spread throughout Friday still may be better exposure than a typical Saturday.
