Thought this was fun to read...glad to see we have earned at least SOME respect. Of course, when you whoop on a team 2 years running, it will have that effect. Enjoy!

shocked at how many people are predicting 8 wins or better. Do they know something everyone else doesn't? I would think 7 wins would be a heck of an accomplishment for that team.

I like how they have ISU as a loss, and UT and OSU as wins. Seriously?

My Prediction is they go 5-7 (2-7)

It's not that I think we're guaranteed to beat them. Anything can happen, and we've got a lot of question marks. But even if they beat us, and KU, plus their 3 non con games, you're still looking at a losing season. Throw in Baylor and you're at 6. Beyond that is wishful thinking. They certainly won't be favored in any of their other games.

Every time I read an analysis of Texas Tech football from any sort of mildly respectable sports journalist, they point to TTU's good recruiting classes (always top 40, usually top 25), and injuries, to explain their poor performance last year.

I sure as hell don't want to pencil in any Texas school as a W, but it does feel like we have their number. I hope this isn't our letdown year against these guys. "Bigger and better things" includes a win against TTU, and this year, I'm penciling in OU as CPR's surprise upset.

I worry about this game next year. I starting college in McCarney years, so I get flashbacks of losing games we shouldn't

Hilarious how he says they "might blow this one" against TCU. Ah, newsflash TCU has been a top 15 team each of the last five years or so. If TCU loses to Tech it would be considered blowing it for them.

Are ya'll and them forgettin' they might only play 11 games this year? I don't expect a win but getting to the next level requires one.

Everyone on there firmly believes they will win 8+ (with the exception of a few reasonable fans). They will be lucky to make a bowl game in my opinion. My God is their non conference schedule easy. No wonder they made some many bowl games in a row.

Good to see that they view us as a tougher opponent than TCU, Texas, KSU, OSU and Baylor
