EDIT: I see Big 12 said it'd be on TV, I hope real TV not FCS. FCS is only scheduled to do one big 12 game for the entire season. That could increase to 2 or 3 for the entire season if LHN only gets one game instead of three and if FSN decides not to pick up the extra game or two.
Looks like the Tulsa game will be FSN with an outside shot at FX

Thursday night games were awesome.

As an out-of-towner who can't make it back for too many games, I think the 11am kicks are the best. That way, you don't have to sit around impatiently waiting all day, and when it is over (and hopefully won), you get to watch the other games of the day without thinking "Man, I can't wait until ISU kicks off."

If you're "impatiently waiting" you're doing tailgating wrong.

I envy Virginia Tech students/fans if only for the fact that they get like 4 Thursday Night games a year. People who say non-saturday games are "busch league" are idiots

Ugh, I love night games for that first one. Better chance of it not being 100 degrees.

Re: Tulsa at ISU 2:30 kick on FSN?
Looking at Fox Sports schedule, I'm confused as to what channel this will be on. ISU said it is a 11 am kickoff and it will be on TV. FSN is scheduled to do ECU vs App state at 11. Somebody said they will maybe change that games times but I can't see them changing that game time after they announced it. I don't think FCS does 11 am kickoffs. That leaves FX. Colorado plays CSU at 3 CST on FX. Maybe FX is planning on having 2 games that day?

I don’t care where you come from, whether it’s Texas, Florida, California, or right here in the state of Iowa, I don’t care about any of that… But what I did care about is moving forward from that day on, that we were one team." -Paul Rhoads -

Well they already changed our game from 2:30 to 11am so there is precedence set for it already.

I love being able to watch the first kickoffs around the country right after ESPN's show on the first weekend of the season, won't be able to do that now. I also agree that early kickoffs at the beginning of the season are much more likely to be in oppressive heat, another factor for wanting night games.
